In vault the Groups (Composition Requirements (CR))is designed to make verities in the routine, that means when the gymnasts will show the routine, we will see different kind of elements and movements, in the training process we maybe we find some preferences with some gymnasts for example: some of them like to do more from front Saltos while they may be afraid or did not like Saltos to backward direction and vice versa, the code of point ensure that the routine will be from all groups, for that propose gymnasts cannot use more than 5 elements from same group.
In WAG, there are not groups but we can call themThe Composition Requirements in there are like this in apparatus except vaalt they are groups
Vault
The vaults are classified into the following groups:
- Group 1 — Vault without salto (Handspring, Yamashita, Round-off) with or without LA turn in 1St and/or 2" flight phase
- Group 2 — Handspring fwd with or without 1/1 turn (360°) in 1st flight phase — salto fwd or bwd with or without twist in 2" flight phase.
- Group 3 — Handspring with 1/4 - 1/2 turn (90° - 180°) in 1st flight phase (Tsukahara) — salto bwd with or without twist in 2" flight phase.
- Group 4 — Round-off (Yurchenko) with or without % turn (270°) in 1St flight phase — salto bwd with or without twist in 2" flight phase.
- Group 5 — Round-off with 1/2 turn (180°) in 1St flight phase — salto fwd or bwd with or without twist in 2" flight phase.
Uneven Bars
Composition Requirements (CR) — D-Panel 2.00 P.
- Flight element from HB to LB
- Flight element on the same bar
- Different grips (not cast, MT or DMT)
- Non-flight element with min. 360° turn (not MT)
Every requirement is award 0.50 from D-Jury
Balance Beam
Composition Requirements (CR) — D-Panel 2.00 P.
- One connection of at least 2 different dance elements, 1 being a leap or jump with 180° split (cross or side), or straddle position
- Turn (Gr. 3) or Roll/Flairs*
- One Acro series, min. of 2 flight** elements 1 being a salto (elements may be the same)
- Acro elements in different directions (fwd/swd and bwd)
Elements: 1.303, 1.403, 1.304, 1.207, 1.308, 1.514, 4.203, 4.204, 4.304, 4.105, 4.305, 4.206, 4.306, 4.307, 5.405, 5.505 can fulfill CR # 2 Flight elements with or without hand support
Note:
CR 1, 2 (turn), 3 & 4 must be performed on the BeamHandstands and holds may not be used to fulfill CR Rolls can be used only to fulfill CR # 2

Floor Exercise
Composition Requirements (CR) — D-Panel 2.00 P.
- A dance passage composed of two different leaps or hops (from the Code) connected directly or indirectly (with running steps, small leaps, hops, chasse, chains turns), one of them with 180° split (cross or side) or straddle position (The objective is to create a large flowing and traveling movement pattern)

No jumps or turns are permitted because they are stationary. Chains turns (1/2 turns on two feet) are allowed because they are traveling steps.
- Leaps and hops must land on one leg if performed as the 1st element in the dance passage.

Salto with LA turn (min. 360°)
- Salto with double BA

Salto bwd and salto fwd (no aerials) in the same or different acro line
Note: CR 2, 3 and 4 must be performed within acro lines.
